37 years in Chennai, Saidapet.
It’s been a long-time dream (among many others) to experience village life, in a hill area surrounded by trees. Like the rest, this one also kept getting postponed. But thanks to a strong push from my better half, Ramya, and happy consent from my mom, we’re finally making it happen.
Yes, I’m moving to Keeramangalam in Pudukottai district, close to my native.
It’s not exactly a village in a hill station, more of a town.

Somewhere between my personal desire to live alone in a small house surrounded by farms, and the practical needs of family life, neighbours, access to healthcare, shops, internet, we settled on this place.
Also, from what little I know, finding a rented house in actual farming villages is almost impossible.
Cheers to this new beginning. An experiment, more than anything.
Let’s see how this goes.
