Happy Independence day!
From the fiery soil of Tamil Nadu to the heartlands of Hindustan, our history is written in blood and defiance:
1757 – மாவீரன் அழகுமுத்து கோன் / Maaveeran Alagumuthu, Thoothukudi
1767 – பூலித்தேவன் / Puli Thevar, Tenkasi
1796 – வேலுநாச்சியார் / Velu Nachiyar, Sivagangai
1799 – வீரபாண்டிய கட்டபொம்மன் / Veerapandiya Kattabomman, Panchalankurichi
1857 – Mangal Pandey and the Sipoy Kalagam
Each rose in courage, yet their struggles remained local, isolated, and fragmented. It took the awakening of the 19th century intellectuals and the birth of the Indian National Congress in 1885 for the nation to finally see the full horror of the British Raj – and unite under one banner.
Today, a similar shadow looms. The Fiat Raj grips the world. Its cruelty is everywhere:
- Food is spoiled to favour profit over health.
- Education is corrupted, churning obedient workers instead of free thinkers.
- Childbirth is turned from a sacred, natural event into a billable medical emergency.
- Taking on loans has become the default way to live, work, and do business – debt as the new slavery.
Its cruelty is felt in countless pockets of unrest, protests, and economic pain – all disconnected, all local… for now.
The irony of history
- Aug 15, 1947 — India broke the chains of colonial rule.
- Aug 15, 1971 — The world quietly entered monetary slavery, as gold was depegged and fiat chains were fastened on billions.
But history teaches us
The moment of awakening will come. The “INC moment” for the Fiat Raj — that great global realization — may arrive within the next decade. And when it does, the resistance will not rise as one towering flame, but as a swarm of decentralized nodes – each node a fortress, each key a weapon, each mind a rebel spark. Together they will spread like wildfire across borders and firewalls alike, a living network of freedom no empire can censor, no tyranny can cage, and no force on earth can extinguish.
Until then, we build. We resist. And we keep the flame alive.
