A one day solo trip to Pichavaram mangroove forests. First time heard about it almost 5 years back from my dear friend, Alexraj. When I googled about it, was immediately blown away by its beauty. It was a such a long due and happy that I visited it now.
Not gonna write a review on my Mangroove boating experience, as I dont want to spoil yours. Just few tit bits:
- Don’t expect to do 4-5 hours of mangroove forest exploration. The max you will get is 1 hour.
- But travelling all the way from Chennai (10 hours up and down) is worth it.
Post the one hour boating, spent couple of hours exploring the surroundings, which is 100% worth it as well.
