The Great Reset – The long awaited Solo Trek

2 Mins read

The Great Reset

Though it was seeded in the 2007-2008 economic crisis era, The Great Reset is only accelerated in 2020, thanks to Covid-19. The UN, The Governments across the world, the Corporates are all talking about it now.

That’s a Great reset on the World affairs. On the other end of the Cosmos, which is inside my mind, I needed a Great reset as well.

Too much turbulence, Too many paths to chose from, Too much uncertainties!

More than anything, It was almost one and half years since I had my Solo trek into the woods. Holy cow, that’s like a millennia for me in my life. Was in a desperate need of trek and I gifted myself one 🙂

“We are captives of our own identities, living in prisons of our own creations.”

Prison Break

Mountains is where I break the old draining identities, while creating new empowering ones. Here we go…

Sathuragiri

A good one day trip, with absolute scenic views and small temples along the way. After 70% uphill, there will be a creek running parallel to the pathway, where you can dip in and replenish your Energy.

Initially, My only plan was Sathuragiri and then few things happened, which made it compulsive to go to my dream world at other City.

The dream world

Not disclosing the place of this trek for obvious reasons. This is my 2nd time here. I expected the unexpected here and fk, it happened and it was even more wilder than I have had imagined. It’s one damn wild, epic trek, that helped me a hell lot in my `Great reset procedure` as well 🙂

Last time some 2 years back, I couldn’t complete it for some reasons. But this time, planned the timings properly and did it fully. oh yeahhhhhhh!!!

Notable Items:

  1. This is usually a place of dynamic weather conditions. Analogy would be, this is like Venus’s embassy in Tamil nadu.
  2. But this time around the weather was so calm and actually very sunny, which gave me so much confidence and helped me completed the trek. But I was missing the ES III: Morrowind feel throughout the trek, because of regular weather. But the temple itself and the incidents happened towards the end, brought back that feel of Elder Scrolls and Gothic.
  3. Spotted elephants twice throughout and of course, our Ancestors (monkeys), everywhere.

Overall, it’s a 4 days of Mind detoxification and served it’s purpose!
